Yeah... not sure what is going on with VSC lately. I submitted my N400 tonight... and my office is averaging as low as 4 months right now, so I could have that approved before my ROC would have been approved on its own.

Woke up to the email from USCIS. Logged into account and finally my case status has changed. New card is being produced. On the old website there is no status change. I hope they have all my dates right on the card.

As I have no hope to receive my GC before my 1 year extension letter expires - after all it doesn't seem VSC is actually approving anything - I braved the DMV/MVC today to get another drivers license to cover me through the expiry of my 18month extension letter. Hours of waiting of course, but at least they didn't give me trouble about the documents...now I wish this process could be over already. Cannot file for N-400 either as Germany does not allow dual citizenship.

You could start the Beibehaltungsgenehmigung, I think it’s good for 2 years..not 100% sure though

Yeah. I am kind of not looking here as much anymore. Now that I applied for N400, the only update to my case at VSC will be that it was transferred to the local office. Lol

I could. It is not going to help any timelines though, as a BBG approval in Germany takes 9-12 months as well. So assuming I would do it now AND it gets approved, a year from now I could file the N-400. I don't want to deal with another bureaucratic process right now.

I was wanted to file my N400 after new year last month but I read some case filed N400 while i751 was pending got delay their both form ( almost over 2 years couldn't get 10 year GC ) bc after they filed N400 their i751 got transfer to National office. So I think I will wait 1-2 more month.

Ahh, I gotcha. I’m not worried about it delaying the process. They have to adjudicate the i751 before they can do the N400, so it turns into a combo interview.

Have some case they couldn't do combo interview. After they do N400 then they tell person go home and wait until i751 get approved.
