Woohoo! Congratulations!!!

Our case status on the app is just "Case Status" and doesn't show any info :(

I checked the uscis.dhs.gov site and it shows nothing related to my I751 case. The only information listed is the case receipt of last year in January. There have been several case actions that should be listed including NOAs, 12 & 18 months extensions, Biometric appointments (or lack thereof), and now the approval.

Information given here:  https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do; is accurate but only has the latest notification.

Yep, waiting, waiting, waiting... lol

I haven't applied for citizenship yet. Though the good news is that my local office timeline is as low as 4 months. (Jacksonville, FL).

As you can see under my signature, I applied to citizenship two months ago and got approved this week for the ROC.If I did wait I would be 2 months behind. I wouldn't wait if I were you,  just my 2 cents.

CITIZENSHIP PROCESS

December 2, 2018 submitted application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 14 months or March 2020.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled , date not yet shown.

December 10, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for  28 December 2018.

December 13, 2018 did a walk-in to the scheduled service center, and they did the appointment on the spot. New completion time reads 13 months to February 2020.

May 10, 2019 - received notification that interview has been scheduled. Date for the interview is Jun 12th, 2019. Completion time reads 9 months to February 2020.

June 12, 2019 - Passed the Interview. Waiting for Oath Ceremony Date. Estimated Wait Time: 6 months per the online portal.

June 17, 2019 - Oath Ceremony Scheduled to July 9th, 2019. Wait Time: 5 months per the online portal.

July 9th, 2019 - Oath Ceremony Done, Naturalization complete. Total time was 220 days or 7 months and 8 days.

Well US Immigration process is the worst in any imaginable way. You pay very expensive fees and yet you are treated as if you are a fraud or even sometimes terrrorist if not, and the worst of the worst, you will have to wait long time enough without making legitimate complaints. Even Mexican drug cartel does not operate in this kind of procedures...

I meant it all depends on how one views the world but is there really something called American Dream? My cent goes there is nothing like American Dream. Yet USCIS is very proud of its work arguing that US Immigration benefit is one of the most precious privileges, not a right.

Im at least glad soon USCIS will publish 4th quarter of 2018 and hopefully backlog goes away in all forms

xillini - I can appreciate your point of view.  I am less optimistic on the 4Q 2018 report that we will see a reduction of backlog.

Specifically with I-751, we know CSC could "show" reduction of its processing time by transferring cases from CSC to TSC and NSC then start processing January 2018/February 2018 files before November 2017 and December 2017 (which many were transferred to TSC and NSC).  That is a manipulation.

Does anyone have data points of how long is the wait for the new card to come in since the notification?

No hard data, but if you glance through the posts by those receiving an approval, they seem to be getting it in a week.

Got my GC last night - it took 7 days since I got notification We are producing your new card, however, it has wrong Resident Since date on it. Now have to figure out how to fix it.

Damki - this happened before in mass production by USCIS in May 2018.

For as slow as they are adjudicating, it is a shame.

Thanks for the info, I am just not sure if this is again some type of production mistake or it is just typographical error. Basically my new GC says, I’m a resident since 2018, date when my conditional GC has expired.

Damki - Yes, that is wrong.  The resident “since” should be the same date when you first become a LPR.  They need to correct that, or it would technically extend the time required as a LPR before you can apply for N400.

That’s what I thought, I have just submitted E-request to fix topographic error and I hope they will come back with some quick fix. although I may have to submit i90, which has processing time between 1.5-11.5 months at the time being. It sucks because I was so happy to get approved for ROC and now this.
