Wanted to provide an update to all the folks here.

I had applied for n400 (sent a paper application) in dec’2018 and did the fingerprints also in december itself. The online portal was updated few minutes after the fingerprints. Its been a waiting game since.

I751 date: Jan’ 2018

VSC

I filed online in December, but I'm basically in the same boat.  No changes since the biometrics in early January. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long 😊

Posted (edited)

My case got approved yesterday 1/30/19 I'm WAC18069 It does not say if it was transferred.

After I filed for USC (online on 1/1/19), did walked in bio for it on 1/17/19, scheduled to 1/25/19.

Originally I did not do bios for ROC.

I'm from El Salvador. and new to this forum.

Good Luck to everyone waiting on theirs. God is Great!

Hi!

I checked the receipt numbers around mine today (EAC180835XXXX) and there are a bunch of cases approved just before mine, and there are also a bunch of cases with decisions after mine. It seems like cases with decisions and without decisions are all mixed together in the timeline. Does anyone know why? My case status says fingerprint review was completed in Apr 2018 by the Albany field office, and nothing more afterwards. Does Vermont service center do the review or each individual field office does? I am so confused.

Thanks!

rochestergrad - You would be wasting your time trying to figure out how they do their job.  The only certainty is that nothing is logical with USCIS when it comes to case processing.

Another certainty is that they will take your money real fast then keep you waiting without much to say about it.

Praising the Lord!  My USPS Informed Delivery showed this morning an envelope and a package from USCIS--the ten year GC for my husband!  Receipt # WAC18086*****.  Processed through CSC.  So thankful we are good to go for another 10 years with no RFE or interview required!  Best of luck to those still waiting--hang in there, it's coming! :)

Okay, so I tried doing this. Like I keep reading on here about. Checking numbers before and after ours. We are WAC 180805XXXX. I have tried numbers before and after ours and they are all "We approved your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker". Legit every one before and after our number is "petition for nonimmigrant worker". So I am so confused. Should I be worried about this? Our case hasn't updated since "received on January 25 2018".

I just realized that I read it wrong.. You need to do the filter for I-751 only. Now there is absolutely no action beyond biometrics for anyone before and after my number.

After you put in the receipt number and the number of cases to be searched,  you will see the results of all cases around you. Then you need to go to the bottom right corner of the app and swipe to i-751 only.

six months ago, when I checked my status, it also says "received on January 24" but a week ago, since I read that a lot of us here got approved, I keep checking and it changed to " USCIS can not provide any info about your case, call #######" which  I am not doing just yet..  I don't know, I am just nervous to do it, I am planning to file my N400 after our taxes done.. i751 approve or not..

On the old website ours has always said "cannot provide info". In the apps too. The new website just says "your case was received on January 25, 2018". Idk when or if we will call either.
