You are aware of the fun German process of obtaining a "Beibehaltungsgenehmigung" so you don't loose your German passport? Takes 9-12 months on the German end these days...

That needs to be done first & I personally right now just can't face up to it, lol!

Yep! And I’m not looking forward to it 😓

All of you who got approve - congrats.. just one questions did you receive notifications via email or text? I'd rather rely on that and stop checking my case :D

I have these two Apps on my phone, (have had them since I-129f days . . . and they are both synced with my USCIS Case, and will send me text messages when action takes place.

Two days after signing up for a new account in the new USCIS website, I am finally able to see my husband's case status.  It still shows case was received on January 24, 2018.  I hope to see that his ROC status will be approved soon.  His WAC is 180795, i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeah, used to love these, for ROC however, they just show me the annoying "At this time USCIS cannot provide an update...blabla" Which actually appears to be the case for ALL ROC cases within 1000 case numbers from my case...

I'm very composed, relaxed, and hopeful during this entire process. However, I just can't keep my hands off my phone; checking Visajourney's fora/forums to see latest approvals.

These approvals keep my hopes alive regardless of the 'Service Center.'

But amongst all these latest approvals in our circle; it seems that Vermont Service Center has gone mute with approvals, or perhaps all "Officers/Adjudicators at mentioned service center had gone for a vacation. (ludicrous right?) Just kidding 😁😂😉😂

At this stage, the entire I-751 process for me is like waiting for your bride on your wedding day and she's running late. Despite the fact that she's coming your way; but you're petrified that something might have gone wrong.😂

Seriously though, what's going on right now at VSC? I guess no one knows. Vermont, at some point in time, was known for its expeditious style of processing I-751applications. So what has happened now?

Lol mixed emotions over here too! I just want my hubby to have his green card in hand so we can file for his citizenship. He wants to wait. Also, our w2s are in so I hope by the time the tax return is in we can use that to pay for the application fees. He’s so patient though. He tells me he is set on his mentality thinking his approval won’t come until June. I hope sooner lol for everyone’s sake!

This reminds me of the Einwohnermeldeamt when I did an internship.  The only bureaucrat in the entire world who brought me to tears.

It makes me very antsy to see all the applications before and after me getting approved. Where is my approval??? sigh.

Probably the same pile as mine which I imagine is service as a really great coffee-cup-holder! Or mine is somewhere between Jamestown and Fargo where the field office place is buried in the snow to hibernate until spring :P  Ours will come in time don't worry!

Beibehaltungsgenehmigung

gesundheit! That's a mouthful! My opa speaks high german and my oma speaks low german (that's what they call it, is that still a thing?) though I only know a few words and phrases that come out when they get mad at each other playing skipbo like "du weise nicht". Sorry I'm sure I butchered the spelling. I hope to learn more german one day just because it's still spoken in the small towns around here and it's so neat to hear!
