Any waiver applications approved?

My friend filed for waiver she received a letter saying will be invited for interview, then after two months then she received letter for the interview in her mailbox , she went to the interview with her lawyer, She spoke and explained herself well, 10 days  after the interview she received her approval letter and green card in her mailbox.

She was April 2017 filer, got approved in November 2018

Who knows gather your evidence and be ready for interview Incase you are called.

but I read in VJ where someone got approved without interview.

It is well. Her interview lasted about 30 minutes. She wasn’t panicked or anything.

They asked question based on package you sent them, nothing new.

God bless you. It is well

I talked to uscis representative yesterday and she told me that California center is working on applications from May 2017. I told her that I know about approved applications from January 2018. she was surprised.

I'm also bemused and flabbergasted that cases in (November and December) are still undecided from that same service center (CSC), but January applicants here are receiving approvals. Good news but at the same time confusing.

Yes, and these are legitimate approvals; not some fabricated stuff.

How exciting, it is moving. Not for me, though, but I am still secretely expecting an RFE because my application was so thin (it all fit into a normal envelope...).

As far as citizenship, I am still very much struggling with the question whether I should apply. I am torn between "it is just so practical" and "I don't believe in what this country stands for". I don't suppose anyone else is struggling with that?

Nothing for us yet. We're WAC18080. Filed January 22 and the last update on the website is "case was received on January 25." Tried using the old site that you guys keep talking about and it give the "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case."

Congratulations to everyone who has gotten approvals!! We are so happy for all of you!

Good luck! I'm sure you will hear something soon😁

Well, I'm sorry to hear but US citizenship isn't right for you according to your assertion. Be prepared for RFE or possibly an interview. However, you could be lucky that neither of the mentioned are called into play during your Removal of Conditions adjudication.

In addition, not because you submitted "thin evidence" that might trigger a "RFE" or "interview"... it has to be looked at in totality. I hope you don't receive either.

IF I had German citizenship, I would not think about US citizenship. Even with my weak power Indian passport, I do not intend to apply for US citizenship for foreseeable future. Good luck to you!

Germans can have both citizenships. That’s why I’m going to start the n-400 sometime this year

I don't remember conscience questions in the RoC forms.
Since we passed the K-1 application with two relevant meetings, two photographs, and no email or chat printouts, I trust in the minimalist approach.

Don't think this is the right forum to have a conversation on whether you believe in what this country stands for. Others have different opinion and it would divert the so helpful forum to something not good. No offense intended.

I'm from West Africa, Liberia and my country doesn't support dual citizenship. Howbeit, I will still apply for that "Eagle"passport (U.S. citizenship) because it has great advantages.
