Yes that is correct. My husband’s gc 3rd year anniversary is march 29. We can apply citizenship december 29. You can double check it as well on uscis website.

I'm filing December 29th when I can, I was just late in filing my ROC right at the start of Jan.

I think it varies by local center?

 

My brother in law applied for his N-400 in Denver in March and he just had his Oath ceremony last month

My closest office, which is Minneapolis, is taking a year+

North Dakota is worse because they have maybe 4 citizenship ceremonies in a year. A YEAR!  I don't even expect us to get through the process until 2020

 

Other people are getting through in half the time. Depends on your local center as the post above mentioned

Windows for us opens January 1st 2019 for the Naturalization process. I am getting stuff ready already.

I filled for my 10-year GC in January, a little late, and my window for N-400 opened Nov-18. I did everything online, submitted the documents they requested on the instructions (nothing more). Scans of GC, marriage license, my husband's birth certificate, last 3 years of tax return, and additional evidence (mortgage, car insurance on both our names, joint bank account, and that was it). 
I submitted my application online on Nov-18, received NOA for biometrics on Nov-21 I think, and did my biometrics today, Dec-12. Chicago office.

Nothing! They received my case on January 16th and that was the last time they touched it, according to my USCIS Account. The estimated time for my N-400 after they received the biometrics is now 1 year (it was 16 months when I started the process). But I've been checking processing times for the Chicago office and it's been about 8 months for other people. We'll see...

I submitted just one month of the car insurance, the agreement of joint bank account and a few statements of one credit card that has both our names on it.

Is anyone else planning to file for their N-400 in January?

 

If yes, should the pending ROC be mentioned in the cover letter along with its receipt number or something? Would be good to hear from some folks who have already gone through this (filing N-400 with ROC pending)...

I won't be filing. Germany doesn't allow dual citizenships without prior approval. Obtaining said approval is a yearlong process with more paperwork - I can't face any more petitions right now. Hopefully the 10y GC will show up in the next 6 months.

I know, we are still working on getting the marriage recognized in Germany and waiting with BBG until that is through.  At least I will soon have a passport in my married name, I hope.
