I need a few quick pointers since we used an attorney for AOS and we're not using one for ROC. What's the best way to attach documents together (like bank statements)? Staples or paper clips?
When compiling the entire packet, should we use any sort of bulk fastener or will that just irritate the people reviewing our file? Trying to avoid any unnecessary RFEs and make the reviewer's life easier. Any tips are much appreciated. Thank you.

I wrote a full detailed account of our AOS process, timeline, AP use, and interview on my blog. You can read it here.

Read our experience clearing immigration with an expired green card and extension letter here.

For my package, I attached each month's statement together with a paperclip. I did the same for each month for checking, savings, and CC statements.

I placed each exhibit in it's own file folder, and used a binder clip to hold the file folder together. You can see what I included in each exhibit on one of the prior pages.

Well, I have my NOA-1 letter - only thing I wish is they would spell out a few more details as to what it means "Your residence status is extended for 1 year" - like saying it is from the expiration date of the green card etc. Letter is kind of vague - though at least the first sentence spells out one is allowed travel and employment.

Biometrics letter next!

Thank you.

DON'T use staples! Paper clips or acco clip fasteners are preferred.

Correct, that is the latest form. It was updated around 20-ish December, I remembered it because I was using the old form and noticed the updated version when they uploaded and changed it right away.

My form expires 12/31/2019

I'd also include a copy of each of your DL showing same address.

For the tax filings, are these the IRS tax transcripts that you are sending? If they are not, make sure they have the IRS stamp, or something showing they were actually filed.

In addition to the bank certification, might be a good idea to show that it is being used (print offs of statements once per quarter from time you moved to US/account opened). Shows that you have both been using it.

I didn't do any affidavit's for my package, and my evidence looks similar to yours.

I would include copy of drivers license for you both showing same address as well. And if there are any utilities that are in both names (water, electric, etc.) showing the same address, you could include those statements as well.
