It might be a little difficult for people to answer directly because you don't mention which country/consulate you are speaking of (or which visa was applied for - assumption is it was a K1). If you can, please update your timeline and profile so people will know. :)

Hi Honeyallpie,

Do now worry. They do this for many people. They need to review your documents, and sometimes they request documents from NSO to make sure you are really single, and eligible for marriage.

Unfortunately, there is no timetable for how long they take to review the documents. You will need to be patient. The good news is that if they tell you that you are approved, and then have you pay Delbros, that is a good sign that after they check your documents they will release your visa.

Go to the "Manila Embassy Interview" blog, and you can find out more information about the Manila experiences of other VJers.

Good Luck. Hopefully, you will hear from the embassy soon.

Hi

I had my interview the day u were interviewed too and we are on the same boat. I was put on AR but before my interview I had this thought that I will put on AR becuase of my BC although I passed some supporting DOCs i know they still want to review it. I was not told that I was approve they just let me pay the delbros and thats the goodthing about it... I guess. LOL ! I knew some womans who were on AR becuase of CENOMAR thing and as far as I know they will not let u wait for so long.

My fiance always called the embassy to check some updates on our case but seems not working they still want us to wait for 4 -6 weeks but when my fiance called NSo to check if the emabssy was already requested some info about our case richard said that the emabssy requested and received the BC last APril 30 and hope we will hear some good news on our case nextweek.

Still hoping this long journey end.

Dont u worry they doing some sort of background check/s like NSO, cenomar...

it usually happens so relax, be more patient, things will work out fine, soon they will released your visa. I already accepted the fact that i have to wait long enough to get my visa on hand after my interview on the 22nd of this month...congrats gurl!
