It's felt like a thursday all week. I am not going to believe it until I actually see Friday tomorrow.

01/17/2007 Faxed the checklist to the Immigrant Visa Unit in Frankfurt

03/29/2007 Got letter from USCIS to provide evidence that our marriage is bona fide

04/02/2007 Sent to USCIS lots of evidence

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

It's great, Jenn, that your life can settle down again. It's always a good feeling.

Things are still up in the air with Moh's medical issue and I'm hopeful they'll have the test results today. He had another bad spell last night and its nervewracking. Heavy rains this morning turned the freeway into extreme bumper cars for crackheads so I was late. Geez I wish people in this city would learn to chill out when the weather goes yucky. Two coworkers were in car accidents this week. Hope everyone is having a great start to their day.

It's sunny and warm here today. I have total spring fever! This is the first weekend in a while where Amed and I have no real plans. Yay! I just want to veg out, maybe go for a boat ride, and grill out. I miss the days when I had summers free!

Ok I'm dazzled now. :blink:

Usama just told me that he got his Packet 3!

I dont' know why but ever since the NOA2 I've just been ignoring everything visa related pretty much. I really didn't think he'd get this until about a month or so so this is kind of a shock to me, yet a good one. lol.

So..............I guess I'd best get my act together and send some stuff to him this weekend!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance:

If anyone going through Cairo recently can just tell me what I need to send exactly I'd appreciate it since my head is spinning too much right now to concentrate on anything! lol

Congrats, Doodle!

I sent...I134 (notarized), employment letter, pay stubs for 6 mos, tax returns, bank statements for 6 mos, a bank letter, emails I received from him, phone bills showing my calls to him and his calls to me, a photo album. What did they actually look at? The I134 and the various proofs of income and the photo album that was forced upon the CO. I can't stress that enough...Usama needs to force the CO to look at the pics.

I wanted to add...you don't have to send hundreds of pages of chat records or crazy amounts of proof since you're K3. A lot of what I read here as far as ppl sending proof is overkill, IMO. Send enough proof to show how long you've known each other, that you have an ongoing relationship, and that the relationship is kosher. Pics with you and his family is a good way to show that.

Thanks! I just sent a request to HR (not the lady I soaked with my expoding sparkling water bottle lol) so I guess now I"ll call the bank to see how to get this letter. I just realized that I've had the same bank since I was 16. lol
