Hello ALL!

I received an email from NVC Nov 30, 2017 basically stating that our paperwork was all completed and now I just need to wait to be sent an interview date. How long did it take to receive that interview date and how far in advance was it scheduled? I hate how slow communication can be with the different departments and I haven't been able to find a real answer in any of the government pages so I'm hoping for some help as far as time lines go. We need to kind of have an estimate of when we may have to go to Ciudad Juarez for the interview so my husband can tell his boss a rough estimate on the date.

Thanks!!!

Interviews are scheduled a month in advance.

You can follow this forum to get a better idea. There is also a spreadsheet that you can filter through to see how long is the waiting time for others interviewing at your embassy, which would kinda give you an idea. Hope it helps!

You are at what is commonly referred to as "Case Complete". Several posters from August 2017 and the first couple of days of Sept 2017 have received Interview dates as of now. We were at case complete in October 2017 and STILL HAVE NOT received an interview date. There are multiple posters on this site that are still waiting from September case completes. I fully understand your "need to know" for planning ( I just lost my entire vacation time as I was "saving it" for the trip to Cuidad Juarez) as it expires in 11 days and learned a painful mistake. You have found a very good source of information in reference to this whole painful process. Stay reading this forum and you will definitely benefit from the abundance of knowledge and experience of the families that have gone through this before you
