Fiance Visa got approved last Dec 5, 2017 through expedited process due to military deployment on February 2017. Now, still waiting on the papers that the USCIS sent to NVC, they said that it takes 6 weeks before the NVC to receive the papers. I will be deploying this coming February. Do you think my fiance will still be able to make it to the US before my deployment? NVC can't provide answer to this question since they havn't received the papers yet. Does anyone can provide an answer to this or who have had experienced the same situation?

I think @Marcelina ? also had their petition expedited and I know they’ve been stuck at that stage since the beginning of November.. Marcelina may chime in and help you but my initial thoughts would be to contact the USCIS and request a call back from a Tier 2 at USCIS to ask. Explain to the Tier 1 your expedited situation.

@Enrico_S our expedited case was approved on November 1st and we are still waiting for the case to reach NVC... (everyone approved on Nov are waiting without good news so far) :( Also what you will hear at USCIS is that expediting was for processing your petition by USCIS ant that only...

What I can suggest is calling USCIS military help line, 877-CIS-4MIL (877-247-4645), explain your situation about expediting process due to deployment and ask for a tier 2 officer bcs this case cant wait 6 weeks, you guys need to get married within 90 days and you need to secure her immigration status asap (AOS, adding to medical insurance etc) before deployment.

In our situation tier 2 officer called us back and made 2 inner inquiries. One for CSC to check out the status of our petition and if not mailed to mail it asap, and second inquiry to NVC for expedited processing. Since Friday I can see CSC the inquiry assigned to an officer for response, its not completed yet (im tracking it online on USCIS site). GL!

I called USCIS and talked to tier 2 officer, he said that once USCIS already submitted the papers to NVC then it's already out of their hands, i just have to wait up to 6 weeks. I already explained my situation about Feb deployment. They can't help at this stage. How's yours? It looks like they're processing Nov. 22 (NOA2 to NVC).

Good news. Did they state that your case file has actually left the USCIS and is on it’s way to the NVC?

@heartinKorea managed to find out that their case file only left the USCIS this week.

@Enrico_S Did you get the Nov 22 date from Visa Journey's graph? That graph isn't accurate unfortunately. There's not a single person with a NOA2 in Nov. who's gotten word from NVC. @kannan and I both were told ours were sent out on Thursday, December 14th, but we've heard conflicting things about how long it will take now that it's actually in the mail. Best of luck to you. I hope they can send it quickly for you.

I'm trying to get our visa expedited due to my up coming deployment. Can you please let me know what information you provided to get yours expedited?

Short update, my case reached NVC today... waiting for case number. @Enrico_S I would still try to call USCIS and ask for an inquiry to SCS to send your petition asap.. NVC is about to process cases approved early November and there is holiday season.. maybe you will reach a more helpful officer this time
