When are the USCIS processing times updated?  I see that the last time it was updated was last month. Will it be updated this month? Anybody know?

I think they do it when every they get around to it. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason for the way they do things. And why is it always 2 months behind. It takes their bean counters a long time to figure it out.

As per USCIS website

"The information on USCIS processing times page will be updated around the 15th day of each month to reflect current processing times as of the previous full month." But so far I have not seen that they follow that 100% and sometime priority date moves backward which I have seen with TSC early this year. Personally, I think VJ processing timeframe is better than USCIS.

VJ processing times are just a very small percentage of applicants, while its definitely helpful, I wouldn't say its better, after all you wouldn't be able to file an inquiry over VJ timelines, but you can with USCIS.

Case says READY but consulate says case is not in system, I jumped the gun and booked an interview but they say its invalid until I receive the letter so I might have to cancel it.

Appointment Letter: Flew to Juarez just to get this, its actually 2 letters you need.

Interview Day: Jan 2nd   Interview Result: APPROVED

Tracking Number Received: Via email notice and website the afternoon of Jan 4th    Visa Delivered: Friday Jan 5th Mexico City

USCIS Notice - Green Card mailed: 3/28/18

I did notice even a stranger thing. The I130 for brothers and sisters has been updated every month, but it moves only couple of days in May forward. Meaning say for example last month it said May 11th, this month it said May 19th. I find it strange because that category has been stuck in May for well over 4 or 5 months.

Those move much slower than spouse, I think those are subject to visa limits, someone correct me if I'm wrong there.

You are right, but it was never that slow before. Spouses and parents and I believe children under 21 don't have no limit, the rest they got a loooooonger wait loool

It's all bureaucracy. At least immigration is not as slow and painful (for some categories) as some European countries.

The most frustrating / annoying thing is that there is little to no updates/ communications. The last real update I can see is dated back to 7th November which is over 6 weeks ago. If some kind of information was released just advising that there was a delay and we would hear something by XX/XX/2017 etc then it would be somewhat bearable. I have been waiting as scheduled for interview now for 5 months and applied for citizenship 7 months ago. Whilst I appreciate people have been waiting longer, I just cant get my head round the lack of communication or how it is taking so long, when online filers are being dealt with at a faster rate.
