Picking up passports is not the same as being denied. It may that it will take much longer for background checks and they don't want to hold up their passports.

So now they can just Denise all visa without a reason

They aren't denying the visas "without a reason" - the reason for the denials is the travel ban.

However, from what I have read, Consular Officers can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.  I would expect these exceptions to be rare though.

i would guess you heard this as you asked a question

A little bit of advice, quit, letting people know you personally are interested and applied (poor thinking)

i have noticed if you do not want people to talk about your situation.  don't feed them information

you are dealing with a lot of very jealous people / some will try to destroy your chances / i have seen this done

if you are interested in the statistics, they are on the USCIS and NVC site to read

charts of number of applicaitons,  charts of approved by visa type and country and approvals

just look at the numbers

https://www.uscis.gov/tools/reports-studies/immigration-forms-data/data-set-all-uscis-application-and-petition-form-types

there are also other sections and sites that actually tell you how many cases still in NVC

you can also check out how many applications are made and flow charts

Yemen is banned and this has been confirmed by the supreme court. Only waiver can help and those are rare.

Until the near future, most Yemeni will be excluded from immigrating. This is good also, as they can not be vetted.

I worked in Yemen, and you can simply buy any kind of fake paper, starting from passport to police certificate.

I fully support that people coming from countries where there is no way to verify if they are criminals or not should

not be able to immigrate to the US or any other country.

Now I agre with you but that doesn’t mean everyone has a fake passport. There are some people that are trying to create a life in America. I mean ho wouldn’t America is awesome

Don't worry this happens alot in Filipino culture as well. It is always "I heard this" or "someone I know who knows someone went through this", the best one that I hate is "A filipino says it so it must be true even if there is no evidence".

Amen, the mysterious They

These are not rumors and not exaggerations.

The US embassy in  Djibouti called at least 200-300 people who have been under administrative processing, some since June, and denied all of their visas yesterday.

The criteria for the waiver is extremely difficult for anyone to qualify and there's absolutely nothing us ordinary citizens can do to change their minds.
