I-129 copy for package 3

Hi! With my boyfriend, we're getting close to get our NOA-2. I was looking at the list of documents we'll need to send for the package 3. It seems that we need to send a copy of our I-129 application. Although, we forgot to scan all the papers... Can someone confirm that? I'm a little worried about it...

Having a copy of the I-129F isn't a requirement, but it is recommended that the beneficiary has a copy of it to review before the interview, in case the CO decides to ask questions related to the information on the I-129F.

This is one of my biggest regrets and things I would do differently, if we were able to go back in time and do it over - making extra copies of the entirety of our application packet. I worked so hard on making it as perfect and organized as possible, and I realized after the fact that I should have made at least 3 copies, keeping them identical to one another - one to mail off, one for me to keep, and one for my fiancé to have. I've heard it isn't a requirement, but it is helpful for the beneficiary to have (as the previous person said).

 

My only saving grace is that our packet had a cover letter/letter of intent, which also contained an itemization of everything contained in the packet. I still have that letter in emails, because I had to send to my fiancé to sign and mail to me so that it had both of our wet signatures. I can use that list to backtrack and re-collect everything I used in the application packet. I still wish I'd done the above upfront, to save myself the extra time this will take, but it's better than nothing. If you recall having any sort of list shared between you and your fiancé, even if not an official cover letter, this may help you recreate the packet and send your fiancé a copy.

Thank you very much! I was a bit worried about it. My fiancé might still have extra copies since I had to rewrite some pages many times. Well, I'll make copies of the rest then. Thank you for sharing your experience
