Once you become a naturalized american citizen, and plan to do a dual citizenship and I am working here in the USA, will I be paying income tax to the Philippines? Also, my son who is 13  and was born in the Philippines is also automatically a naturalized US citizen now, do i need to apply a separate application for his dual citizenship? To those who are a dual citizen, please help. I need enlightenment. Thank you.

If you and your son are both planning to re-affirm your Philippine citizenship you will EACH have to complete the application and complete the process through the consulate representing your state.

Did you pay income tax in the Philippines while working in the USA when you were a green card holder?  (you were a Philippine citizen then )

You would have to read the Philippine tax laws if you feel it is a concern.    I am not an accountant ;)
