i-130 ... 1 Quick Question (Pt2, 5a: Other names)

Hello everyone

I have one final question to complete my i-130 please?

On Page 2, Part 2, 5a it asks:

Quote

Provide all other names you have ever used, including aliases, maiden name, and nicknames.

My wife (the petitioner) has had 4 names:

1 maiden, 2 previous marriages, and the 1 current marriage.

Should she put all 3 names down (maiden + 2 marriages), since there is space only for 1, should she put the remaining 2 on notes please?

Yes, she must include all names previously used.

Important to list all names, all marriages, all divorces, all children

you sign the last page saying you have answered all questions honestly

a quick check they do of SS number will show this information (and they do check it as some try to illegally file a petition using fake SS number, etc)

so best to disclose all or have petition not accepted for nondisclosure of any information

the above sounds serious as immigration takes this very serious
