What exactly are you suggesting?  Having him come here, get married and stay?  A person cannot enter the US on some form of non-immigrant visa with the intent to stay and adjust their status.  A person can enter the US to get married, but they have to leave while a spousal visa application is submitted and processed.

That being said you have two choices, apply for a K1visa then assuming he gets it, then he can come here, marry you and adjust his status.  The other option is to get married (anywhere) file for the CR1 (overall a superior visa) and when he is approved he can come to the US with a green card in hand.

Good Luck!

Which visa is a superior is dependent on an individuals fact pattern and priorities.  My priorities would indicate that K-1 is superior based on what I am looking for

YMMV

Trouble with who? His parents, your parents?

You are correct.  The K1 does have some advantages relative to processing speed particularly.  In general, the CR1 is better from a cost standpoint, as well as for work and travel.

To the OP, there are a lot of threads that discuss the pros and cons of the K1 and CR1, you should search these and make the choice that best suits your needs.

Good Luck!

Making him come here and marrying you? Marriage should be entered into voluntarily. Is this an arranged marriage that he doesn't want to proceed with?

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!
