I-129F: Processing time from USCIS shipment date to NVC Received / Case Number Assigned

Hi All, I got my NOA2 on Nov 3rd, and after several calls with tier 2s and a congressional inquiry, I found out last night that USCIS finally mailed my I-129F on Thursday, November 14th to NVC. Does anyone know how long it takes for NVC to add cases to their system from the date USCIS actually mails them (not from the NOA2 date)?

 

I'm relieved it's finally in the mail and is on the way, but I'm trying to gauge whether or not early Nov. NOA2s have a chance at getting case numbers before Christmas... I know there's a lot of late October NOA2s that are still waiting as well.

 

In the past when it took around 2 weeks for people to get case numbers, I'm wondering if USCIS was mailing them almost right after they approved them. Not sure if anyone else has found out when USCIS mailed their case / tracked how long it took for NVC to receive it and assign a number, but if anyone has any data please share

No the NOV noa 2  will not really be start being touched until after the first of the year some time. If you are wondering about your MAY filing getting the case number before Christmas u might get lucky but I highly doubtful that will happen since it is only 1 week away.
