How much triggering is going on by him including the word "yet"?  

 

I would expect him to issue the pardon just prior to Flynn reporting for prison - if he is given any prison time.

I am starting to think Trump says stuff sometime to watch the MDL and the Press jump thru hoops and parrot ridiculous  talking points

I think the same thing.  The MDL thinks Trump is a complete idiot, but he seems to be able to play them at every turn.
