Got it.  The reason I am asking is, I will be out of country, so I wanted to prepare all the documents before I leave, and have someone mail it for me while IV fee opens up and I pay it while I am out.

You can send them to save time, I did it that way, but you have to know that they will review it once you have paid that rate (IV) and you have filled and sent the Ds-260!!

Sorry but it's an illusion that you are saving time.  I was told it goes into a separate "hold" pile along with the others that have not paid yet.  They will not process until funding is received and DS-260 completed.   That's why they want you to send the documents afterwards, so it can go directly into the "to process" pile.

Guys, on the I-864 form, did you leave any blanks or did you put 'N/A'? Also, do we have to put in the alien number from the past after you become a naturalized citizen?

Yeah, I figured they have some kind of hold pile.  I will wait till the fee is paid and processed before sending the package out.

I left them blank, did not use N/A at all.  You are a US citizen now so there should be no need to put your previous alien number.

Sorry, but that's what I said, they will not process your case until you have completed all the steps! Once you have paid the (IV) and submitted the Ds-260 they send it to revision!

Great, Thanks!

There are mixed information when I searched through VJ, where people have got checklist when left blank. I am really confused :(

¡Muchas gracias!

Estoy realmente confundido:(

If it's true, there are many versions, anyway it's better that you call NVC tomorrow and clarify all your doubts!!
Good luck!
