Can the petitioner of the k1 visa attend interview?

In London the interviews are carried out in the Consulate section.

As mentioned it depends on embassy on whether they let the petitioner in the interview. My wife's K1 interview in Warsaw allowed it, and I cannot confirmed whether it helped or not. I was asked questions of our relationship during the interview as well, and also let the CO see us as a couple. I think it helped us as we are not the typical demographic couple that get interviewed in that embassy.
