Hello, my husband had his interview on Dec 1st at Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. His appointment went well and was handed a blue paper stating his visa was under administrative processing, but also given a green slip that his visa was approved. The Officer told my husband that the systems were down and they could not verify the information asked from him at the time, but if everything was correct his visa was approved and he would get his visa within 3 weeks. I left Mexico confident I would see him back home in a couple days at the most couple weeks. However, from the research I have done it seems like this administrative processing is a very complicated processing that can take months. I was not expecting him to be gone for an extended period of time, so now I am in a very tough place. Has anyone experienced this before? Or have any advise on what I can do or what to expect? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
