What does this mean?

Hey guys,

So me and my wife submitted our i-485 and i-130 back in June 2017 and had our fingerprints about 3 months later. We had our interview on 13th of December 2017 early in the morning. I was nervous, my wife wasn't. We were called in and we were expecting to get separated and the officer just led both of us into her office and said that they won't be separating us. She said that she sees us as a bona-fide marriage {which was just the best news) and that she's gonna save time by not having separate interviews. We were in a state of mild shock i guess. She asked us general questions, like our names, ssn, address, when and where we met, and dates etc. The interview took probably 15 minutes and we were in the waiting room for longer than that. Anyway, at the end, she said she has ''recommended the application for approval'' and we should get a notice via mail in a week. I don't know what that means, is there something they weren't saying? I've been checking my case status on the website and hasn't updated since.

Please let me know what you guys think it means.

Every application has to be signed off by the supervisor and that is why the interviewing officer says "recommended for approval" rather than telling you that they are approving it.
