We just had our interview today. We were interviewed right at the time printed on the notice.

Our interviewer was very nice, but the interview took about an hour. Most of this time was spent updating paperwork (we made a big move, changed jobs, submitted I-693 and so on). He asked questions straight from the form, and then asked for a brief timeline of the relationship. It was very comfortable, he was very nice. He gave us the "case is under review" notice, but told us our evidence looked good and explained that we'd have to do ROC in two years. I was a little worried because we had a very simple courthouse wedding with no guests and don't wear rings, but this was not even brought up. He was mostly interested in shared financial evidence, but requested that next time we print everything single sided and highlight our names on the insurance/financial paperwork.

The case just got updated online to "card is being produced"!

We got a text update and email on our AOS case today - our interview has been scheduled and we will be receiving a notice in the mail with date and time. So now we need to review all our materials and prepare. Yahoo.

Is there anyone here applied for ssn together with EAD? How long does it take for you to get the ssn after ead approved?

The SS card and the EAD card came the same day for my husband.

We tried to do that too this summer. But we waited in the ss office for an hour and a half, just to find out we were at the wrong one, so we went to the other (st paul or minneapolis can't recall) one and that one had a line coming way outside of the building and it was about 95 degrees out, so we skipped it. Applied with EAD, and that worked fine, except the 4 month wait to get the EAD/SS card...
