Interviewed this morning. Parked here 409 S Marquette Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55402. It is about a block and a half away but paid $8 for the time I was at the interview. Not bad imho.

Hello!

 

Has anyone traveled in/out of Minneapolis while their AOS is pending interview? We have an approved I-131 Advance Parole document, but still nervous about leaving the country and getting back in okay. Would fly in and out of MSP with no domestic layovers.

I had a validation error on my egov.uscis account for a good week, maybe two? And now it's gone. I am able to log onto my account and click on all my cases without a validation error. Has anyone had that happen?

My husband will be doing it very shortly - MSP won't be our POE back into the U.S., but I'd be happy to report back once we arrive home in January.  I've heard that it does require secondary inspection, but is generally no problem.

I had the same thing happen, but I still cannot log in. Now it say account locked but won’t let me complete the step to get it unlocked.

That would be wonderful!! That's what I've heard as well. What does he plan to travel with as far as documentation goes? Obviously passport/visa and EAD/AP card...not sure if you guys plan to bring anything else?? Also - it sounds like you will be with him (I'll be with my husband when we travel as well)...I wonder if that makes a difference or if you get to stay with him through secondary inspection?

Just passport and EAD/AP, I think...not sure what else (if anything) would be helpful.  I will be with him, was wondering that as well - I've got Global Entry so it generally takes me 15 seconds to clear Customs, maybe he could convince me to wait around with him if it's allowed 😛 we'll be coming back in through Chicago O'Hare from Auckland.

Hmmm, that sounds a bit different from what I experienced. The account did not lock at any point. Thank you for sharing, though.

I just got a case update email this afternoon. But it was an old updated from November 8 that they corrected a typographical error on my name. I tried logging in again after that and it let me in but there are no new updates in the account. So I’m unsure what’s going on or why they resent the name update notice? Hopefully it means they are working on my case and I hear good news soon.

They will lock your account after too many unsuccessful login attempts. Alternatively, if you have the case tracker app, and search constantly for 500 receipts at a time, eventually that will lock your IP address and naturally, your account.

 

The name update usually has to do with your background checks. If you think about it, they sort through several hits and have to weed out names that are not you, but that are similar. Maybe they were adding the c/o father's name (in care of) to  your interview notice. It is all possible. 

 

If you look at  DHS website, it should tell you when they last took an action on your case.

Just updated my timeline on the chart. Three and half month after the interview, our case was finally approved. After hearing nothing from USCIS for three months, we contacted Senator Amy Klobuchar's office for help to inquire about the case. We got a response from the senator's office on Nov 26th that the case was under review. Three days later, the case was approved. The green card arrived in mail on Dec 8th.
