How did it go?

 

The interview went really well. She mostly asked questions from the application we submitted initially. She also asked my wife about me and asked me about my wife. In  the end, she said that we submitted everything that was needed and we'll here something soon. Later during the same day, we got an update that our case is under review. Now we are just waiting on the decision.

Congrats! It sounds like it went really well! That's awesome! You will get your approval soon enough.

Hi guys, I have received my interview notice and my interview date is 1/31/2019. My pd is 10/20/17

Hey guys! New member here.

my interview has been scheduled for February 4th.

 

do I need to redo my medical? I did send it in a sealed envelope with my vaccination record. But it has expired already. 

 

I sent my AOS packet on Nov,2017 and my medical was valid through May, 2018. 

 

Im super nervous as the date is getting close.

Hey, just wanted to update about my husband's experience traveling with AP!

 

We arrived in Chicago (ORD), so it's possible your experience could be a bit different, but it went very smoothly for us.  We filled out one arrival card (with my passport details, etc.) and went through the non-U.S. passport holders line.  The CBP officer looked at both our passports and my husband's AP/EAD card, then marked the form, and sent us through to secondary; he said I could go with my husband if I wanted, so I did.  We sat for around 10 minutes, then an officer called us, gave back my husband's passport and card, and told us we were free to go.  No further questions or anything.  There were quite a few people waiting - some arriving on immigrant visas and whatnot - but we found the process fairly expedient.

It was a long wait. If I were you, I would start applying for jobs. Once you secure a job offer, you can call USCIS to place a request to expedite. At that point, you also want to reach out to your Senator and have them inquire on it.
