Hi everyone, I am totally new to this website and glad to find so many Minneapolis office filers here. My PD is July 17th 2017, AOS marriage based. No sign of interview yet. Does anyone know, what PD's are getting interview notices?

Our long journey is finally near an end! 😀 Our card was produced and was mailed earlier this week. The tracking number shows it has arrived in our city and will be delivered tomorrow. Thanks everyone for all the helpful information and support!

Received like 7 text messages this afternoon saying my I-485 case status has changed.

I first logged into the new tracking website (myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov) and saw nothing.

Then I used the old tracking method (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do), and actually saw an valid update.

"On September 17, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXX."

This is kind of odd as I thought they have completely migrated to the new website. Not the case apparently, although the old site has been showing 'at current time uscis cannot provide case status for you' message for like 8 months.

 

I feel conflicted about this update. Thought I won't get an interview until next Jan, and maybe a chance to get a permanent card.

Now that we are still far away from our 2nd anniversary we will have to deal with this all over again in 3 years ... whoops.

 

Anyway, a valid update is nice. I will update the tracking table in next post.

Well CONGRATS!!! I mean this is good! Maybe the system will have decongested a little or a lot -hopefully - by the time you have to file for ROC.

I had the same experience when our I-485 case updated - nothing on the new DHS website, only updated on the old USCIS one.  Tech migration is clearly not a strong point.

By the way I just got a notification that my letter was finally mailed yesterday , September 18.
