Processing time is jumping back and forth. Was 15-27 months, now 10 - 14 months, but mostly because on cases based on employment. Still, not very informative...

Well, it's promising, though. The first number is the median (50%). 10 months for employment based and 10.5 months for family based. I think there is hope with the MSP office, actually. They're probably keeping employment based interviews short. The files are probably pre-adjudicated. ISO performs the interview. Done.

I think that if someone has a straightforward case and it's free of RFEs, you can expect for it to take 10.5 months.

(I posted this before but thought I might have more luck in the Minneapolis topic)

We have our AOS interview coming soon and was wondering what other people's experiences have been like with AOS interviews in Minneapolis?

Since my medical was over 12 months ago at the embassy do I need a new medical from a US doctor?

When inquiring about the costs to doctors relating to this do I ask for a full medical and also to complete the i693 form? What documentation will be given to me from the medical to provide at the AoS interview?

Furthermore, when asked to bring employer letter mentioning pay and hours is this for the sponsor or applicant or both?

Here's another data point. This couple filed 09-27-17 and were just scheduled for interview on 08-01-18. I guess there is no rhyme or reason to how they select cases.

Several people report being interviewed separately. Rather, the ISO interviews either one of you first, and then, then same ISO conducts the interview on the second person.

If you did not send in much evidence with your AOS application, then make sure you bring a well organized file. Craft a Table of Contents that lists all your evidence of bona fide marriage. Include a brief explanation, in a sentence or two, what the evidence is proof of.

We have a lot of evidence that has built up since moving, we applied aos fairly soon after we got married so we will be prepared with joint bank accounts, leases, tax-returns, photos etc. For evidence we sent our marriage certificate and all the copies we were told to submit with the form of our ID. Though for our K1 we had a lot of information submitted and have copies of so we will bring this with us too.

That is interested I have not heard of being interviewed separately, I thought they usually speak to both as a couple? I wonder how long the interview lasts for?

Hopefully more VJ'rs who have went through can share their experience too.

It's not necessarily a Stokes interview. They tend to speak to one person first, then the other. That's been posted in this forum. There's no set time, either. Every case is different. K-1 vs adjusting from other visas.

You should be fine, though. It's a good idea to bring the evidence you submitted for your k-1. They may not necessarily have it.

Thanks for posting the data point! Wow this is very close to my PD. However, as their adjustment is based on K-1, it should be faster. I am a F-1 so I will give it another 3-6 months. Will update here if I hear anything.
