I was wondering if anyone going through MSP knew what MM//YY EAD's are currently being processed?

I applied for a renewal ead/ap combo card late march2018 as mine expires Sep2018

I have received the black and white i-797c through the post for the i-765 + i-131 though what is current processing times on these should I have it before my current one expires?

Does the black and white i-797c docs extend my current card for 180 days? If so do I need to notify my employer or USCIS that my card has expired but I am continuing employment as I have these receipts?

At how many weeks prior to expiration should I contact my congressmen to help expedite the process as I am currently working and my card will expire. Does my employer need to write any type of letter to provide them?

Your priority date should be on the I-797 that you received for your I-485. It's typically the date that USCIS received your AOS package.

The  I-797C that you received for your EAD renewal does in fact grant you an automatic renewal of 180 days from the expiration date on your current EAD. Employers are/ or should be aware of this. You can just show that to your employer.

I-751 Joint Filing.

06-15-2021 - Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken.

05-26-2021 - Received NOA/extension letter. Notice date and postmarked 05-20-2021.

05-23-2021 - Received text message with Receipt #. YSC Potomac Center.

05-21-2021 - Checks cashed (processing on joint checking account)

05-07-2021 - I-751 received in Arizona.

Marriage-based AOS - Concurrent filing.

05-07-2019 - AOS Approved. Resident since date 05/07/2019.

05-06-2019 - AOS Interview

04-23-2018 - "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

03-16-2018 - Priority Date.

That's great that you got an interview date, is your wife adjusting from a family based application or employment based?

When you said filed may 5th 2017 was that the date you posted your application or did you have a priority date on your i797c with 5th May?

No Priority date, We sent the application April 25th, They received it May 5th. MSP is the slowest in the nation, Hopefully things pick up and start moving faster. It has been a long wait for this.

That's unlikely. Pending applications on 12/31/17 at MSP Field Office:

Family               - 5,160

Employment    -    358

Humanitarian  -    367

Other                -    130

_________________________

                  Total   6,015

All employment based AOS petitions require an interview. Let's say -for laughs- that only 1/3 of humanitarian based petitions will require interviews.

5,160 + 358 + 122 (1/3 of humanitarian petitions) = 5,640

The MSP office has zero experience handling that many applications or interviews. See for yourself.
