@Goldfish_0529 I'm still waiting , my case is stil under AP according to their website. My Fiance has divorce papers so there is no need for Certificate of no Marriage.

Iam the Beneficiary- CO asked for My Certificate of No Marriage.

OH really?T.T geez..I know a lot of things are going thru your mind right now and it must be really hard :( I do hope you'll be over this soon. But any other speculations unto why you're still on AP other than the history of previous denied visit visa? I've known applicants who have previous denied visit visas but they were approved. Origin may also be one but in cases like you have gone to or you're a current citizen to these banned countries of US thus some are given ds-5535 form.

My AP is because of previous Visit Visa denial.Iam from kenya ,its not among the banned countries and its not high fraud however its Africa and African countries are always treated same...so my gues is probably my Origin which is Africa.....AP should have been done by now if it was only uncertainity regarding my marital status...but 3 months later its still under AP...we r stressed but what can we do...in this world the good people always pay for the wrong of a group of gridy bad people....Some Africa countries have really  bad reputation so i understand...i will just wait it off

I don't know what right words to say :( This really breaks my heart and indeed we do all suffer from the consequences of the wrong doings of others. I wish we do have the voice to at least utter our concerns with regards to the embassy but unfortunately they're very difficult to contact. I hope this will be over soon for you. (Virtual tight hugs)

Hi all,

For those who are waiting for their Interview date in ABu DHABI please can you share your experiences, or can we keep in touch and support each other 🙂 , the waiting is unbearable ,we could relax if we know at least how many we are and that we are all going through this, and once someone get'S interview we become hopeful.

our Pertion (K1) was recieved In Abudhabi from NVC on the 18th of October 2017 then on 15th November 2017 is was updated in the system ,since then i haven't heard anything, my status remains "READY"

Anyone going through same.

Hi, same here. Its been a month since the Embassy has received our approved petition but we still have not heard from them yet. The delay & no clear timeframe is so frustrating. 😞

My understanding is that the Embassy choosenyour interbiew date for you and we have to wait for them to provide us the date. Above, you said you received an email to schedule your own interview date.  Do you think it’s different process for different visas?

We’re cureently waiting for an interview date and I too have been trying to find out how long they have been taking to schedule them. Anyone have any recent updates for Abu dhabi?

Filed December 2016, NOA 1 approval April 2017, got to AD embassy June 2017, didn't get an interview until December 2018 then notified of visa (hopefully) today.

For AD, once packet three is sent, a link is given to set up an account with AIS Travel.gov and you select an appointment date from there.

First thing you should have done is looked at the profile and determined when the last time they were on VJ. This in turn would give you an idea if you are going to get a reply. And Feb 4 2019 was the last time, so I doubt they will be answering your post.

Hello-  I would call them and here’s why. They never sent us a letter in the mail of our interview date.  It had taken so long that i finally called and they said our interview had been scheduled. They were supposed to send us an email but we had not received that either.  So they then sent the email with instructions and the date and time.  So you are supposed to be notified 4 weeks In advance but we only knew 2 weeks ahead of time and it takes 2 weeks to get a Doctor appointment.  Luckily it all worked out for us.   But once your case is with Abu Dhabi everything is done via email.  You also have to stay on top of them.  There were 2 more times after that when emails were not sent and should have been.  Always call or email if things are taking longer than usual.

I don’t know those abbreviations.  We were approved and documents sent to Abu Dhabi in October 2018.  We did not get interview until April 25, 2019.  The interview was in Abu Dhabi. We received the email of our interview date and time In April.   I don’t know what f2a category means.

The information you are asking about is in his profile in the left column. He is not a F2a visa.  You have no information in your profile.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

@CandiH If your embassy is Abu Dhabi then the flag in your profile show something else which is confusing us in answering your question. Your profile appears that you are applying in Jordan. Also, this is a K-1 thread and you are asking about a visa that many of us have little knowledge of. You should be in this thread asking your questions. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/134-ir-1-cr-1-spouse-visa-case-filing-and-progress-reports/
