That’s super quick! I filed end of August 2020. I think it’ll be Newark and a long wait.

Yes, it will be a long wait. I filed in December, biometrics in January and I didn't get any news since then. I think Newark is taking over 14 months to schedule the interview.

12/14/19 applied online N400

01/09/20 Biometrics appointment

With online application is there a requirement to upload to passport photos? I remember that if N400 was filed paper route there was a requirement to do so, but is there using online application since I haven't seen it anywhere so far.

Hey all,

Does anyone have tips/suggestions on where to park in Elizabeth, NJ for the biometric appointment, the closest garage I found appears to be .5 miles away. Thanks in advance!

I’m afraid I don’t but there should be lots relatively nearby. If not, Lyft/Uber from a few miles away might be a good option.

Also, you got a biometrics appointment? I thought they would be waving them.

I did.. probably not as lucky as a lot of people who got the waiver.

Interesting... When did you last get them done? I think they redo if over 5 years or something

The last time was over 5 years ago at an embassy...never visited an ASC in the states .However I have read on some threads that bio was waived for ppl who did it over 5 years ago as well.

Have you put in service requests either by calling USCIS or through your online account yet?

Does anyone know why Newark is moving so slowly? It just seems odd as other service centers aren’t this slow. And the other NJ service center is much, much faster.

Called them in November and they told me to wait, and every time I send a message online I receive the same answer (Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office.)

I applied 15 months ago and still waiting lol..... a lot of people that applied in the same month received their interviews for this month.
