N-400 Newark/Mt Laurel New Jersey

I got this today, I did my interview at newark office, is anyone here in the same situation? my n400 was approved and then they cancelled the ceremony

 

December 7, 2020 Oath Ceremony Cancelled

December 4, 2020 Your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, was placed in line for oath ceremony scheduling.

December 4, 2020 We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review.

When did you have your interview? Honestly I would contact a Senator and have them inquire on your behalf if nothing happens 30 days after interview. Cory Bookers office is super helpful if you are in NJ. He'll definitely have my vote once I naturalize

Newark does same day oath so you were probably recommended for approval, and quality review at the same time, which is why they did not give you the option to do the oath on the same day. The selection for quality review may be random, and simply procedural, and oath scheduling being cancelled may be another separate unrelated event due to covid. It may be nothing to worry about and I wish you the best of luck.

December 10, 2020

Interview Was Scheduled

On December 10, 2020, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization

The portal does not have the notice available in the documents tab yet, prob by tomorrow, when the physical notice get mailed, I'll have to call USCIS to find out the date today, which I will do later.

Based on the previous filers who have a Jan 15 date, I would be the week later, the week of the 18th - 22nd and 18th is holiday.

Just to clarify, you filed January 15th? Did they reuse your biometrics?

I filed Oct 22nd 2019, I will be going to the naturalization interview to get citizenship sometime in the last two weeks of Jan 2021, since a previous filer who applied Oct 7 2019, has his interview on Jan 15 2021.

So I called and got my actual date for the naturalization interview, which will be Jan 25th.
