Out of curiosity, has anyone received a biometrics or biometrics reuse notice for Newark lately?

No - I got the new interview notice on October 16, for November 25. 

--> more than 5 weeks before the actual interview! 

 

Some people get it just a few days before the interview, others 2 weeks. There seems to be absolutely no rule for it...

Passed + same-day oath! 👍

Super-friendly interview; 15 minutes only. No questions asked besides civics & english test.

No comments in regards to any travels (although I had plenty & long ones) - didn't even ask about additional trips after submitting application.

 

Altogether there were long waiting times; I was in the building for about 4.5 hours but this includes waiting, interview & oath.

They ask by the book, exactly as the questions are written there.

i just received an email saying my interview was scheduled and the letter is in the mail !

 

Do you guys know how far in advance do they schedule the interview for?

with the holidays coming up im planning a few family trips and this caught me off-guard

I filed October 2019

FYI - >i just called them and my interview is Jan 15. so that means they scheduled it approx 1 month and 1 week in advance

Can you share what date in Oct 2019, I filed Oct 22nd 2019 to the Newark NJ office.

Woohoo, they are finally starting to process October 2019 applicants! I'm a Nov 2019 filer so this is giving me hope. Congrats!

I applied August 2020 so am assuming I’ll be up for interview in September 2021!
