Mark us red!  we did it...well hubby did it.  lol.  Ceremony was beautiful.  even the man performing the ceremony got choked up when he was telling everyone how proud he was that they wanted to become Americans...and probably loved this country more than alot of people born here.  We arrived in Mt. Laurel at noon for a 12:30 appointment.  Didnt get called in til 1pm.  My husband was done by 1:20pm.  They asked him 6 questions.  Had him read and write the same sentence and then went over the questions in the application.  Ceremony was at 3pm so we just waited.  Was a beautiful day.

Hello all! Just found this thread. Hubby applied in early June has been waiting for an interview since September 6th. We are waiting (impatiently) for an interview date for Newark. We have a trip scheduled for the first week of April. So we are hoping we can get his passport taken care of before the trip. Can someone please add me as well? Thanks!!

Hi JT4/25 I took a complete copy of everything I had sent plus all of the originals, also my tax return for 2016 & all of my expired passports. 

In the end he only looked at my passports & took back my expired G/C & gave me back my 10 year one which I handed in at the start of my oath ceremony.

Received interview letter today. Interview is scheduled for 02.27.18 at 11am, Newark field office.

Hi all...Hubby has been scheduled for an interview for the Newark office. We are waiting on the letter to see when it will be. We started the process in early June and he was put in line to schedule an interview on September 6th. We are getting closer!

Had no idea either! We were totally looking forward to taking the day off from work and then getting his passport done the same day. Not sure how many places will be available on Saturday afternoon to get his passport done. But we have a date and that is what's important.
