N-400 Newark/Mt Laurel New Jersey

Hi all, my originally cancelled N400 interview for April 17th was scheduled for Mt. Laurel for Sept. 24th. I will write an update after the interview. Good luck to everyone who's interviewing and waiting for an update.

Awesome. I just did mine last Thursday. Everyone was super nice there.

Do you have to answer civics question on ipad or one has to speakup the answers?

It was a regular interview with an officer so yes you have to say the answers. The ipad was only used for the written and reading test... and then just to sign some legal things.

Anyone who had interview between April 20 to 22 got it rescheduled yet for Newark center? My Wife's interview was on April 22nd but haven't received the rescheduled date yet.

My wife was scheduled for the 12th of April and she is yet to receive a new date. I think they are rescheduling based on dates filed rather than interview dates. Another user here was an August filer and was originally scheduled for the 17th of April and has already received the new date. My wife was a September filer so I am guessing she will be scheduled for sometime this October or maybe early November considering the timelines I have noticed up to now.

Hi there, I just filed and waiting on receipt (it’s showing accepted online). The timeline says April for Newark but I’m assuming it’ll be longer?

Yes. It will take longer. I filed in December and I am still waiting.
