I went to my local USCIS office when I began the paperwork for AOS. They were nice enough to give us a checklist for those with K1 visas that are applying for AOS. What type Visa do you have?

I was given two different checklists for AOS, so here goes.....

ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS CHECKLIST (Not K1, it is listed after this checklist)

REQUIRED FORMS: Where FEE is stated, confirm present FEE, due to increase)

I-485 Application to Adjust Status FEE (14 years or older)

I-485 Application to Adjust Status FEE (minor children under 14)

I-485a Supplement to I-485 (optional) FEE (Accelerated service with penalty option)

** I-130 Petition for Alien Relative (If I-130 was already submitted you must wait until it is approved and submit copy of that approval notice with I-485

Fingerprints, Biometrics, FEE

OPTIONAL FORMS:

I-765 Employment Authorization FEE

I-131 Advance Parole Travel Request FEE

ADDITIONAL FORMS REQUIRED AT TIME OF FILING (NO FEES)

I-693 Sealed Medical Examination and I 693 supplement

G325A Biographic Information (PETITIONER/APPLICANT)

I-864 Affidavit of Support (Must be notarized and supporting documents)

READ ALL FORMS CAREFULLY to ensure you have submitted the proper additional documents that are required, (Examples - I-94 card, passport, marriage certificate(s), Birth Certificates (translated), and divorce decrees for all marriages).

All application forms must be completed, signed and dated. All filing fees must be submitted at time of filing all forms. Failure to provide documents could result in loss of filing fees and rejection of applications. Burden of proof is on the applicant and petitioner. Copies of original documents are acceptable at the time of filing. However, you will need to bring all original documents at the time of the interview. Beneficiary cannot leave the United States while adjustment of status is being processed. Leaving the country results in abandonment of status to adjust in the United States. The local office will process Advance Parole Travel Request for emergency travel only.

ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS (FIANCE) CHECKLIST

REQUIRED FORMS: Where FEE is stated, confirm present FEE, due to increase)

I-485 Application to Adjust Status FEE (14 years or older)

I-485 Application to Adjust Status FEE (minor children under 14)

Copy of the Fiance Petition Approval Ntice, I-797

Fingerprints, Biometrics, FEE (Pay the fee now, but you will do fingerprints at interview)

OPTIONAL FORMS:

I-765 Employment Authorization FEE

I-131 Advance Parole Travel Request FEE

ADDITIONAL FORMS REQUIRED AT TIME OF FILING (NO FEES)

I-693 Sealed Medical Examination and I 693 supplement (Exam only by approved USCIS doctors!!)

G325A Biographic Information (PETITIONER/APPLICANT)

I-864 Affidavit of Support (Must be notarized and supporting documents)

ADIT photographs (See specification sheet)

Copy of passport pages

Certified copy of marriage certificate

Copies of I-94 (front & back)

Similar terms and conditions apply as stated in previous checklist reqarding application procedures, evidence, travel, etc.

FEES....see most recent posted fees to confirm the correct fee. My paperwork states all fees to be paid with one check.

You will be scheduled for an interview and your spouse must accompany you.
