there is no way that I will not go for the second interview, as you say at the end of the day, you need as much in terms of benefits and pay as you can get, and although it would make me feel a bit rotten to let the other company down when they are so nice, as ETUS says, any employer will not think twice about you if push comes to shove.

amen!!! Look out for number one is my motto in business! There are plenty of other peeps out there who can replace you so don't worry about if you get the offer and have to leave.

congratulations! It's always a nice feeling to get more than one offer!

In these days and age, you have to look out for yourself, The companies don't care much about you, you are just a contributing factor as to how much money they can make. IF you get any package or Bonus from them, just don't cash it yet until you make your final decision, if the other job pays better then Go for it, and you can honestly tell them you have been interviewing but you got another offer. Since you are new there i am not sure they will be in a position to match it, but before you start and doing the salary negotiation you can request an increased in their offer, or at least ask them how long before your next appraisal and salary increased.

At time you might start low then get a quick salary increased based on your performance, but nowadays it's very RARE.

Gone but not Forgotten!
