@Shoegum

Quick question my friend,

Is it worth going to March, April and May forums and give them the NVC spreadsheet link to get more accurate results?

I know very little about math but the more folks who just got their NOA2 who input their info (since our new go at NVC trends is fairly new) the lower the average wait day because so many of us just got our notices?

Does this make sense?

@Naes  your thoughts?

I don't think so. I think if there was a huge wait we would hear about it already.and once the NVC gets it everything happens so fast after that..

So from your perspective, Do you think the average really is about 30 days from NOA2 approval? I thought the panicking was over but as many of the people on here know, my fiancé is out of a job and housing on 15 January and I am so worried for him

Nope I actually think it's normally less than 2 weeks for recieval to the number.

but checking past months won't help us cause we know this average...

but I may be wrong really I don't know much about NVC yet

It may tell a story getting those month feedback could be useful as On the spread sheet you can see between Oct 4th to Oct 26th, average was around 30 days NOA2 to NVC, which include few late april  filers and early may.  Getting that data can possibly tell us when the delay was introduced.

Normally yes but there's been a big slowdown. Something definitely happened/is going on to put the brakes on cuz it's ALL petitions

Would it be possible to add this to the spreadsheet as well?...

NVC received to NVC “in transit” or “ready”

whichever one means its actually left NVC and isn’t stuck in AP and we can safely make our medical and embassy appointments.

Im unsure if recent posts of getting to NVC and being stuck in AP are common and yet another thing we need to consider for this journey.

sorry for the long long winded and poorly worded post,  I’m multitasking to s right now

I think that won't be beneficial as we don't have many users and most of those users will be different embassy. I had added a column for NVC left section once the case leaves NVC then its up to the local embassy's timing. So with spreadsheet we can track when it got to NVC and when it left.

Thank you very much.

It’ll be interesting to see how long cases stay at nvc.

Something definetely happened and I don't think asking past months will actually help with what happened to you guys..

but again I don't know much about NVC stage so I don't want to shutdown the discussion. It can be beneficial in the end

No I agree with you! I don't think previous data would be helpful here either
