Hi everyone. My name is Ilio

I have a question? . I have sent my I-130 application on behalf of my husband since January of 2017 and I receive the NOA-1 already with a preference date of January 23 of 2017.

I am concern that is taking so long to review our case. ( Case is in Service Center Nebraska ) .  I called USCIS a few days ago and they told me everything was fine.

I checked the case's number before and after my husband' case' number and most of them have being reviewed already.

Any of you know by any chance if they review the cases based on the case's number or based on the priority date that appears on the NOA.  I checked several case's numbers that were far away from my husband case's number and they have the same priority number that my husband has (01/23/2017) and that confused me. Any suggestion or explanation you may have related to this please share it with me I will appreciate it.  Is this process that long?  I though this first part of the claim was not that hard however it is been almost a year that I submitted our app and no seeing the light at the end of the tunnel yet. Thank you.
