Disable JavaScript in adobe reader’s settings. That’s what I did to add more text than initially allowed or different kind of values

Very good this works, but after doing this, the bar code does not change anymore. Thus, when they scan it into their system, there will be some kind of issue with it :)

Hi,

the AOS instructions require us to put N/A or none in all empty fields. However, this is technically not possible as the form does not allow to write such values in many of those fields:

Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been
married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise
directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many
children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless
otherwise directed

There is a 2D barcode, so supplementing with handwriting seems to be no option. Please advice what to do here?

I typed in NA on the fields...no rfe yet so i think it was fine

They manually review it anyways - I checked two boxes instead of one allowed at the employment section (employed and self employed) and it seemed to work cause I even got a RFIE for documents regarding my regular job & self employment :)

That`s great. A little offtopic, but what papers do they want to see for self employment in particular? CPA statements?

Our self employment was a 1099 job in particular, so we did not have a lot of evidence to it except for the actual 1099 form but we submitted :

1.letter from the employer from the W2 job

2. All the paystubs he was ever issued

3. Employment data records

4. The immigration verification from the work number . com

5. Independent contractor contract (1099 job)

6. Letter of contract Verification from both husband and the other side of the contract

7. Letter of earnings verification from employer (1099 job )

8. 2016 tax return

9. Printed out the poverty guidelines and highlighted the applicable row

10. Bank statements with highlighted deposits from both jobs
