We have only received e-mail notifications for the receipt notice(NOA1) And the acceptance notice by the NVC stating that they’ve sent the petition to the embassy and giving us our case information. We haven’t recieved any of these forms in the mail (only by email) . We did not receive the official receipt form I-797 in the mail or the acceptance forms from NVC in the mail. I called the USCIS after we didn’t receive the first form in the mail after 10 days of getting the e-mail and I asked why it hasn’t arrived yet and she told me that sometimes they don't send the form in the mail and that the e-mail is the actual receipt. I guess my question is .... Do we need all of the original letters of acceptance and notifications for the interview or is it okay to have the emails printed out ?? I’m not sure why we aren’t getting any hard copies in the mail.
