We were Issued as of 12/15 evening and the last updated date changed on 12/19, but still on Issued. Today the agent for the 703# said the issued date he saw was 19th and he’s not able to see it Issued on the 15th. Told him I had screenshots from 12/15 and hope this doesn’t mean there’s even further delays. He said so as far as he can see our wait time for tracking number is from 19th, and hopefully we have a tracking number today or tomorrow, but no guarantees.

These people are really unhelpful which sucks.. I really hope we don't have to spend Christmas here...

I have read this on many post that the consular tends to issue tracking numbers on Fridays and that is when I received mine so I have high hopes for you all tomorrow.

Do you think we have a chance of getting it by Saturday? I would like to spend Christmas with my family..

Im thinking they are trying to get everything done by the weekend. They issued a visa to a person that is staying here with me the same exact hour after he walked out of the interview. His just waiting for the tracking number. CAS told me to keep on calling them because at any moment I would get a tracking number. CAS is also slower tho to catch up on the status, they say that the embassy issued and printed the visa yesterday (wednesday) but I saw the issued update on tuesday morning.

Mine changed to issued Monday around 4, so hopefully there is some news tomorrow. When did the person that is staying with you have his interview?

Yesterday and when they got back to the guesthouse they already had a issued status. 

 

Anybody now if they update a CEAC when it leaves the embassy? Or when it gets to CAS. Since I don't have the email i have to call CAS daily.

No...the last update we saw was just the one that said issued a couple of days before we received the tracking#.  I really hope everyone gets theirs today.

When did you receive your tracking number? How many days after your status changed to issued ?

Whoever I spoke to on the 703# line made it seem pretty hopeful that a tracking number should be ready today (was originally Issued on 12/15, but they say 12/19 now). They said that after a few business days should be good so to keep calling back, and said that they’re actually open to call until 8pm even.

Same with my wife they say it was issued on the 20th but I saw the issued status on the 19th.

Interview on Nov.  28

Status ready until Dec. 4th

Status changed to Issued on Dec14

On Dec 18 statis was still issued but the dated was changes to the 18th.

On Dec 19 the CAS told us the packet had left the consulate and DHL still had not deliver it CAS.

Dec. 20th we received the tracking number.

This similar to what happened to my wife's.  Hers was originally issued on the 14th and then it was updated on the 18 but still issued.  We received a tracking number on the 20th.  You might receive it today.

So even if we were to get a tracking number after hours today, there is a window of opportunity to pick up the packet tomorrow, right?

In your case, as soon as you received the tracking number, was the package ready for pickup at CAS?
