i saw post in facebook and someone call to the UCSIS and asked if there was a recent policy change that affects the processing of November applications by the order of receipt and told her  explained to me that there are 2 factors: a back log of cases, and electronic filing. On 11/7/18 the USCIS began receiving electronic applications instead of the traditional paper cases. Electronic cases are easier to complete for several reasons. It’s not handwritten, or a scanned copy of a handwritten application. The method of working through electronic cases is allowing them to reduce the backlog.WHO FILLED  ELECTRONICALLY OR SEND BY POST IN DECEMBER?

We filled electronically via a INS lawyer jippeee!!!!!

I don’t think this is what uscis means with electronic.

they started a new system for some of the form such as n400 that can be filed electronically. So you fill and file it online.

all I-129f is sent through mail, it can be filled digitally on a computer or can be typed. But it can’t be filed through their new electronic system yet.

Yes ours were send via a link to the USCIS system. Not sure what system the INS lawyers used but our application were over 60 pages and all were send via computer electronically. We also got the link to open the document to see the application.

On official uscis website? Or on lawyers website?

now, this is interesting cause I-129f is not one of the petition they opened to online filing yet.

This is the list of current online filing forms. I'd really like to get more info on this.

No via the lawyer system. They filled in behalf of us electronically via computer. It was not send via post.

You did not send it visa post, but did your lawyers sent it via post?

Most lawyers, agents lets the filer use electronic system of their own however when it is done, they do print it out and send it. (Sorry I am really interested in this because officially there is no online filing open for I-129f and this can change everything, hope you don't misunderstand)

Well I will ask the lawyer how did they go about. But as far as I know they did not send via post or courier. They include us with a link and we could click on the link and see the whole package. Maybe they send it digitally via computer. I will ask him. But it does not matter how we send it. We got the NOA1 so we don't need to worry. Our docs is there.

Yes it does not matter as you have noa1.

But it would be great for the rest to know because it is a huge difference if a lawyers firm actually have access to something that is not out there. So it would be extremely appreciated if you can update us if you ever find out :)

Normally electronic system is faster because you can access it through USCIS official website (this is how the online filing usually works) and for example you want to change address? You can just do it simply through the file and it won't take as long as paper filing. (and some other benefits) So if they actually open I-129f it would be a really big change for everyone.

I'm at 173 days dose that mean I get in 10 days ?

It means VJ estimates that that is a very likely time you will get your NOA-2. If you fill out your timeline (please fill out your timeline as it helps us all!) it will calculate a most probably date of your NOA-2 to arrive.

Right now the average of people getting NOA-2 is around 185 days. You could get your NOA-2 anywhere between 160 or 200 days. Many people even get it much later than that (hence the 200+club)
