The hardest part of the visa process is half expecting it to only be 3 months when you first think its a good idea based on old data.. then you get into it and its brutal to wait. With all the RFE's going out I'm half expecting that as well to take up more time. Lucky eastern Europe is really cheap once I get there or I would probably be stretched pretty far now.. just those long flights urggghhh

Charts to compare July, August, September and October regarding the length of time from Received to Approved (as to 05/06/2018).

As a reminder, in the charts below I try to compare what happened within the next 187 days after the last day of July, August, September and October received cases. In order to see them clearer I put them together in pairs.

In that time, with a total of 596, 849, 923 and 1038 approved cases respectively:

  • July had a global mean of 195.56 days from Received to Approval date, with a standard deviation of 5.22 days.
  • August had a global mean of 189.94 days from Received to Approval date, with a standard deviation of 6.95 days.
  • September had a global mean of 187.57 days from Received to Approval date, with a standard deviation of 7.68 days.
  • October had a global mean of 182.92 days from Received to Approval date, with a standard deviation of 7.00 days.

As I mentioned in some previous post there clearly was a turning point from July to August, and it has kept improving consistently ever since. Notice that they did not only shortened the average number of days, they also approved more cases in the same period of time. Hopefully this tendency will continue! :)

Thanks Daniel!!

This is is really encouraging. Even though we know USCIS don’t alway update/approve petitions for each processing month in consecutive order retrospectively, it’s 179 days for even any of the November filers who got their NOA1 on 11/01/17 to today’s date (just talking about even the start of their processing month for example). I’m predicting the global mean will be a little higher for November filers than October filers because of either slowing down over past two weeks or whatever their issues are within their systems. Hopefully this is not the case for our November filers and it will lower based on global mean averages.  All I hope for us filers in December is that we don’t go as high as June-Although we are only day 131 today so a long way to go yet haha!!🙈

Thanks for this. It’s refreshing to see you dedicate yourself and do this in your own good will to support others despite already having your NOA2 yourself 😊

So who is left? I have been away a bit as I was banned again and just as the ban was lifted I became extremely busy.

When they ban you they block you from even viewing the site or logging in, but I am able to access through the use of a VPN. I have a few VPN, I highly recommend them not for bypassing bans but for security purposes.

Question regarding the December scans

I've been given the chance to run the December scans when it comes our time. I would absolutely love to do that but there's one little snag. I live in the Netherlands. This means that my time schedule is way off from US time. The normal scans are run at 6pm Cali time. That is 3am my time. I love you guys, but that's not gonna happen. :jest: What's more, I probably won't have the opportunity to run the scans during my workday. That means the usual 6pm cali time scans will be run somewhere around noon the following day. Will that be ok with you? If not, we need to find someone who is computer savvy and on a more compatible time schedule.
