Hi there, I’m sorry but that’s not accurate.

Unfortunately, 145 days is incorrect with your NOA date.

If you received your NOA1 on 15th Dec 2017 it has an actual count of 128 days and not 145. Sorry to point that out LOL 😝

Hi @Gauthami @jakejon is correct.

It’s 137 days for me today (noa 1, 6 Dec) so if your noa 1 is 15th Dec it’s only 128 days as of today.

So maybe this is a silly question but what is everyone going to do for health insurance for their fiance until they are married? Maybe I am just a worrier but we aren't planning to marry until the end of the 90 days just due to not wanting to plan a wedding until he is actually approved. I would just hate to loose a deposit or something because I had to shift a date. Anyway 3 months not being covered just scares me, what if something happened?

Waiting till the very very end of it can be really risky.

apart from that google: visajourney k1 insurance you will see a lot of discussions on this with answers from veteran members. Some would say travel insurance would cover as it is still a non-immigrant visa, some would say it won’t.

Hi Everyone

How is everyone doing?

I see that my timeline shift from 16 June to 15 June :).

We are on 130 days since the NOA1 (14 December 2017) . Still very hard waiting on approval.

Lets keep our positive vibe and energy going. I know the statistics show's a lot of applications still not touched and then that whole bunch of November's and December's. I'm not giving up any hope even if it stalls a bit. Miracles do happen.

Have a great week you all. Keep your chin up and know that it will be our turn soon. :)

@Mikeyg they are now on October, last date touched is 26 Oct (received).

Hi, you said - last date touched is 26 Oct - but the USCIS website says 25 Sep, 2017 as of today for California Service Center.

Hello! If you will take time to read previous post on this forum (December filers) you will noticed @Naes posted the below update

Hello Everyone!

Finally finished with January to March! And cleaned it up and everything :D

I will lastly try to wrap up April before I leave for Turkey in May!

So here goes recent numbers first :

Please note that days with little to no approval update has Silent NOA2s.

Lately most silent noa2s are updated ONLY on the new website.

Please check for personal status updates on both websites; new website usually has backdated updates to the previous day around 4am-6am PST the next day!

Old website, same info as apps: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Monthly Situation:

 For newcomers:

Excluded are the cases nobody needs to think about here. (Rejected at the beginning)

Approvals on non-active months are 99% expedite cases (yes we do have a weird happening in November for only cases on November 16... don't know why, don't know how...unless you want to believe you'll be that 1 out of 4000 and get disappointed I would suggest going with the obvious logic)

Touched means the case is no longer has the "case received" status..something updated like name or birthdate or address, or got an rfe....

Virgin are cases that are "never been touched" (and yes it is all about Like a Virgin cause it still rings in my head) so simply "case received". But I got so tired of seeing case received on the website... I am not using that!

Cases that looks "Virgin" in previous months other than Active

Not all cases get updated on the old site, this number (same as "Case tracker app" numbers) will only show those. June had plenty of cases that got Silent NOA2s and we are still having them highly. I suggest cutting at least 30-40% of Virgin cases to guess real numbers. However, this does not mean nobody is waiting from these months, Even just on VJ we have friends still waiting from June.

Every case is different and not all cases with the same date will be adjudicated at once.

  Monthly Numbers:

Active Month : October

Last date touched : October 26th (Received date)

Expected November start : April 26 - 27

* December cases are not total due to validation errors. I would expect an extra 200-300 cases on the month.

This is also the reason why December cases are not up to date. If your case had validation error and it resolved please let me know.

I’d been following the k1 October 2017 filers forum to get info and have seen approvals on the mentioned last touched date.

Here’s the link for you to check out:

Regarding the date shown in the uscis website which is 25 September 2017 this is a case inquiry date means if your receipt date is before 25 Sep you can submit an outside normal processing time request or you may start to call them to inquiry your case.

Hello and welcome. Feel free to ask questions but please read a page or two before you do cause most questions come up often ;)

USCIS wants to be careful what date they post on the website. They are working on October but they cant post that cause there is still many cases from September, August, July and even June still waiting. I don't know what they base the date on that they post on their site but it could very well be an average date. Like, for example (and this is pure speculation) out of their 100% workload, 10% are cases from June, 15 from July, 20 from August,  30 from September and 35 from October. On average that would mean they are working on September.

We are eagerly awaiting too. I went to a festival yesterday and my love went to a race with his dad. Due to the time difference he left just as I was getting home so we missed each other completely. We both had lots of fun on events that we would have loved to attend together. It's hard being this far apart but it also forces you to communicate and work harder on your relationship. Every coin has two sides, I try to focus on the positives this process brings us. I think it makes us stronger as a couple. If we can endure this we can survive anything the world will throw at us.

HI,

How are you assessing your exact timeline date? Mine on VJ says between June 27, 2018 and July 1, 2018. To be exact it has been 119 days.

Hi, Thanks again for the information.

I have one question: The NOA1 my Fiance got in mail has the receipt date - Dc 26, 2017 , but when I logged into my account on USCIS and entered my receipt no. - the receipt date is coming Dec 29, 2017.  Any idea on this ?

What is the general consensus here for visiting to US while petition is in progress ?

Hi there, your NOA1 is the exact same dates as mine.

So in general:

(1) Received date is the date that your petition was physically received at the service center. The petition is also stamped with this date when it is received;

(2) Your actual NOA1 notice date is the date that your petition is entered into the system and a notice issued.

We sent our 23/12/17, it was received on 26/12/17 (closed Christmas), NOA1 29/12/17. The USCIS app goes as it by your received date and the newer account (as recently updated on the USCIS website) goes by your actual NOA1 date I believe.

In regards to travelling to the US, I haven’t been there since September. However, as I live in NI we do have a pre-clearance in Ireland (Dublin and Shannon) which a lot of people use for handiness of pre-clearance.

Many people have travelled to the US successfully during both K1 and CR-1 whilst their cases have been pending-loads of threads here highlighting that. You’ll be sure to hear, “it’s not guaranteed” but sure what is in life? LOL. Be sure to always be honest, carry docs to show your home ties, answer every question truthfully. I’m actually going to US at the end of next month for a week-it’s been way too long (9 months since I’ve been on US soil!) And after advocating for it; I’m using pre-clearance 😊

Good luck 🍀

One is received date, one is notice date, another one is submitted date (reading their descriptions would help with this)

i travelled 3 times since we started. (I’m not from a visa waiver country but I have a tourist visa) I know many people travelled. Never had any problem, actually these were the easiest entries Each took a 5 second of how long, and purpose question only.
