Hi Everyone!

 

I'm Vivianna, but you can call me Vivi 

I filled on 12/01/2017 for my fiance who is in Venezuela.

We got our NOA1 on December 5.

I haven't seen him since January 2017  because he doesn't have a Visa and, my job doesn't let me travel to Venezuela for the lack of medication an public security in the country.

 

We know each other since we were 12 years old, I'm 23 right now.

Hello!!  My fiance is also in Venezuela.  I also haven't been able to travel to Venezuela either so we meet in Aruba.  Our first trip was Jan 2017 and the 2nd trip was Feb 2018.  The borders are now shut between Venezuela and Aruba so at the last minute he had to fly to Panama and then Colombia to get to Aruba.  Thank God it worked out. I'll be following your journey and I wish you all the best (our NOA1 dates are similar).  I know how hard it is having your other half in Venezuela!  Hugs to you!!!!

It seems like they have started with October ... Two October people received the NOA2. Lets hope that the October and November goes quick so that they get to December files.

Actually 24 cases received noa2 today at least from the updates (don’t know if there are more silent ones)  so even better news!!

Go to October page go a few pages back from the most recent one and search for Daniel’s post for the daily scan.

 

or use case tracker app but for that you need to guess a good number to start the search so going to October filers page would be faster.

Got it thank you. Jeez it's good news seeing October is in the process. There is hope. We are on day 105 since the NOA1. Counting the days.

oh wow just a few days behind us. This waiting can be frustrating at times. Almost 5 months since we seen each other. Very hard for me but I know the wait will be worth it.

I was lucky to be able to visit a few times this season. I spent three weeks with him around Christmas (his birthday) and he spent my birthday here (march 6th). But that was the last time we were able to see each other till this whole deal is over. We don't have any more vacation days and the flight is so expensive. I am hoping to have POE half of August (think positive!). It'll be along long wait from now on.

You guys are so lucky. My visitor's visa got declined twice last year. One in October and one in November due to "not enough proof of country ties". So he came to visit me here in SA for 3 fantastic weeks. But unfortunately we have to push through till the end. Skype and video call help a lot with the missing part but still I wish we can be together in person. I hope and Pray that USCIS will approve as we love each other very much. I can't bear to live without him any longer. We both misses each other dearly. But I am positive about our application and we have tons of proof and our engagement ring. Got engaged in Drakensberg South-Africa. Was the most romantic time of my life. At this moment we have no date yet as we wait for the NOA2 to come and K1 interview.

I don't have any definite date either, but I've been on VJ for a while now and am starting to see the shifting patterns of approval. Right now it's speeding up a bit. According to VJ timeline we should get our NOA2 halfway/end of June. But I have a feeling that will speed up some. Add about 2 months for interview and medical and POE could very well be halfway August.

I really wish for sooner. On the South-African forum they only waited 7 days from the USCIS to NVC and from NVC to Embassy (between 20-30days) and got interview within a week. Most of them received the NOA2 in beginning of Feb and some had the interview on the 20th and today 29th March. Both approved. So I hope that ours will be the same.

I have a friend how file on November 5 and just got her NOA2, so i guess that means that we are closer to get ours!!!

I will definitely be following your journey too. It is really nice to know that someone is going through exactly the same thing than me having my significant other in Venezuela.
