Hi.

My fiance sent the documents from Massachusents on Dec 12 to Texas but received the letter from USCIS in California.

We called them on January 30 and were told they'd been processing June 27.

This is unexpectedly slow, and why would the documents go to California?

All k1 goes to California. Texas is just a lockbox.

there's backlog Since last year May filers.

they are processing july and August right now.

those data is "as of November 31". That's just what they say on the phone

@ChuAni give my dollar for the day! 😂😂 I had all the regulars in one post

hello! question please! my fiance and I are planning to go to a different state sometime in October but we are wondering if im allowed to travel domestically?? we are just trying to see if in case im already in the US by that time will they revoke my tourist visa and wont be allowed to travel within the states?? alternatively if im still in Bermuda by that time then i can still travel with no problem.

I'm sorry this questions is a little confusing is this after you get your k1 or before?

They won't revoke your visa till you get the visa interview.

Noa2 approval does not let you have a visa... but if you go till the interview for k1 that's when they will revoke it.

k1 lets you travel domestically but you can't go outside of US.

i wasn't sure so I answered it all :)

I am confused about people sending in over 100 pics and all sorts of other things. We went through a professional service that handles nothing but immigration petitions and they specifically warned not to do that and actually capped photos with submission I believe to 10. We were also told NOT to send chat logs, letters and phone records but to wait and bring those to the interview. I am now really freaking out!!!! Should I have done it anyway????? Oh Lord.... this process is stressful enough... I think I just hit stress overdrive.

well the event is in October so we are not sure if im already in the US by that time since we dont know when the k1 process will be done. so let's say im already in the US and k1 is already approved, i can travel domestically even with a Philippine passport?

Yes. Just keep your papers with you when traveling.

No you didn't need to send more than that. Some people do. Not everyone uses companies, agencies etc nor know about this process much.

but also apart from this, agencies are not 100% either. People still get rfes with agencies but just less likely.

however in your case there's nothing to panic about, as long as you also sent hard evidence. Which I believe they would have make you do that.

Same here. Great way to start the day.

One day now, one day a week ago or whenever it was.

I just have this feeling that by the time it gets to December, it will be reduced by 2 weeks or even more.
