We got an RFE...my fiance was notified  on   24 July   via  email. 

 

Would  you mind to  share what is your RFE about?   We have an idea somehow  that ours  could be  TOS  from the  website  where we met.

We  hope that ours is    an   easy one and  wed  receive the letter soon so that we can work on it fast.

 

BTW,  congratulations on your approval!

Got my NVC number today, but seems like I can't do anything with the number or just wait according to the representative from the NVC.

What you can do now is track your case here: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

 

Basically just to have an idea of whether it is still AT NVC, IN TRANSIT to your Embassy, or READY for the interview.

 

Also consider joining the thread NOA 2 —> NVC July filers, and checking the subforums for specific information about your Embassy. :)

Thank you sweetheart!!! And of course! They only asked for a picture of my fiance because apparently was "unacceptable" so he took one the same day he received the letter and sent it right away, same day! 

 

hopefully yours is an easy one too! They're always asking for little details but we'll see when you get the letter! Keep us updated

If we got ours at the same time, yours will be soon in the way, hang in there! I know how discouraging it is, but never lose the faith. We're all rooting for you!

There s no definite time an RFE takes. Officially they can take up to 60 days. Usually if its something simple like a passport photo or a copy of a birth certificate they will approve within 1 to two weeks. If its something more substantial like evidence of meeting in person they need time to review the evidence
