I'm here too. So hurt and defeated I'm sick of checking the website didn't even check it today . I'm just over the entire process. Just read an article on CNN that said a new policy will go into effect 9/11 where they can reject your case without even submitting an RFE if I don't have anything by August I'm going to book a ticket to go see my fiance this starting to become unbearable I'm forgetting what I'm waiting for. Loneliness is becoming the new norm

The hardest is enduring the wait alone, only phone calls and texts to keep you going. And then to get to this point and think.....it’s my turn!! Our wait is nearing its end. And then to have this happen, where you wait, and wait some more, and some more and you see others get their approvals and move on. And you think.....hmmmm.....what happened.....we have been eduring.....what happened 😕.....now what.....guess we just keep waiting and enduring. But I agree.....why do it alone....if possible....fly over and be with the one you love and wait together in each other’s arms 😍 now that is something I can wait for, since I know the end time....August 6th....together again 💕

i hope you can fly and be with your loved one....I know it’s not possible for everyone, but if you can...I truly hope it’s posible for you!!!

Omg yes I was just reading about that. But thankfully it doesn’t effect any cases that applied before 9/11. So even if our cases go past that date, we are still able to get RFE

Just a little hint... don't believe everything you hear or see from the news. They can't be trusted. I have watch interview after interview and I have to say to myself where did he/she hear that line. I fact check on immigration items before I believe a new policy. Basically what the "new policy" is if you are declined a visa extension (mostly H-1B employment and Student Visas are affected) you can be placed in NTA status. If a student is in violation of their student visa status then they could received under the new policy a NTA (Note to Appear). This does not effect K-1's or CR-1's. Your stressing over something that has nothing to do with your case. Just saying.

I was under impression that all signatures must be original...

A signature is valid even if the original signature is later photocopied, scanned, faxed, or similarly reproduced. Regardless of how it is transmitted to USCIS, such copy must be of an original document containing a handwritten, ink signature, unless otherwise provided by regulation or form instruction.3 USCIS will not accept signatures created by a typewriter, word processor, stamp, auto-pen, or similar device.

This came from the site it looks legit. Maybe until it gets effected we shouldn’t worry too much  and you are right it was mostly for H1B cases cuz employers are doing half ### jobs when sending in applications.AFM_10_Standards_for_RFEs_and_NOIDs_FINA

So when the files comes in they sit on the desk or is every file scanned in the system?

Your packet that you submit your application to USCIS gets scanned into the system.

Hi Everyone,

That new policy is really a broken heart news for anyone who is still waiting. My finance worried that so much even we had passed this step  and she kept asking me to confirmed that the policy wont affect our process. I hope everything would be alright here.

Besides that what should I do after my NOA2 approved online? I did lots of research so far but not all information were consistent. I am confused.

Should I just wait at this moment until my case number get generated? How do I know that? Also, is there anything I can do in parallel now to start things ahead for future.

NOA1:12/21/17, NOA2 7/13/18.

i feel exactly the same with you guys with everything. i'm a planner myself... and these past few days have been devastating to like have no updates and all and not hear that many approvals for other december filers. but this week it's been busy, my grandma died and my uncle died.. so my mind's been busy with those and not to much into the k1 visa.. but yeah i kept getting much more anxiety as each day passes when we started to be in the red zone.

I’m sorry for your losses!!! I hope you can do something for yourself. You don’t need anymore anxiety at the moment. Take some time for you!!! ❤️

Decembers are getting approvals now. just need to :clock: a little longer.

I’m just curious what makes you say “little” longer? When we look at November filers and see some there still waiting, who have security checks....there wait wasn’t a “little” longer, it was much longer. I’m just wondering for those of us still waiting, what hope/proof is there we are “little” longer and not one who will be like November filers waiting “much” longer. I guess I have lost hope about the “little” longer part and trying to prepare myself for “much” longer. I’m thinking we need to be patient much longer!!! But I have not been at this as long as you have or have as much experience as you.....just curious from your experience why do you write “little”. Lol maybe I’m trying to hope “little” is true....but still fearing the “much” longer wait and trying the prepare myself for it. Because it seems to me (I’m new at this, so it’s uneducated)....”we have been left behind.” Why is it they start January when they haven’t finished the other 50% of December? Doesn’t it seem more productive to finish what you started 😜. Then move on. And if you finish your task of December files, why not help the others finish theirs....so you can say you are almost 100% finished.....so what I’m thinking (again uneducated) is maybe they have finished December as far as they can go and the other 50% of us, our files need more time. So this is why they move onto January. And if this is the case, then we could be waiting “much” more time as ours go through more security checks, and COULD be waiting months before we get our answers since there is no timeline on a security check.

Well......maybe I’m making myself for anxious....I guess that’s why I gave up on the hope of “little” longer and that they are still working on ours because they are only 50% done.....I’m trying to think this may take much more time and because they have moved on to January filers....”we are left behind....but maybe it just means our files need more time.” It doesn’t mean we will be refused...just sit back and wait!

but....lol do you really think it is just a “little” longer 😜
