Hey guys, quick question: After showing up on the old or new site, how long does the hard copy of the RFE take to come in the mail?

We got an email notification on Monday, July 9th, and my fiancé received the hard copy on Friday the 13th. The hard copy says we were approved on Friday the 6th! We'll try calling the NVC for the first time at the end of this coming week. Hope this helps

If you are waiting for the hardcopy to be mailed on a suspected RFE, it could take 1-2 weeks to arrive.

Hoping this week shines so bright for everyone still waiting. I’ll still be here rooting whilst moving forward when we get a case number, which hopefully fingers crossed will be later next week!! Or soon thereafter 🙌

 

Keep the faith. Can’t wait to see everyone get their approval date and have their day. Love conquers all. I promise that once you get your approval; your waiting til date will melt away like snow and sun combined together!!

Ok Guys, so it's like 212 days since noa1. I've called USCIS and they were no help. This process has really just pisses me off it should take this long. It's past the point of anxiety and just plain frustration.

Same here... day 213 and it's really starting to make me mad... each day you hope it's going to be the day and nothing but frustration and letdowns 😤 whyyy is it taking so freaking long?!?!

207 days 😭 (I shouldn’t complain compared to 213 😲)..... really hoping this week we get some answers. Like you we are completely frustrated but anxious also. I’m heading over to Togo August 6 and waiting it out there with my love, but we really wanted our answer by now so I could bring everything with me we needed. Well I have tried to get everything in order....hoping when our answer comes it won’t be any RFE or any other surprises. Also hoping getting the information I need from the NVC won’t be bad. All will be challenging to do in a country with limited internet, mail service, and ability to make international calls. 😟.... well......we will see what happens! 

 

 

 

I do have a question.....what is everyone’s thoughts of what should be in the packet to show the embassy we have a bon a fide relationship and it has continued? Our first packet had WhatsApp text and phone calls, letters written from others who knew of our relationship, photos, motorcycle we bought in our name and plan tickets showing I spent two years together. 

 

This packet we have the same....continuing phone calls and text messages, photos, plan ticket to visit him, proof preparing for the wedding, receipts rings bought.....

but im wondering if I should include a letter written by our new landlord stating he is aware he will be renting to my fiancé (soon to be husband) and I. Both our names are on the contract. We will be renting from a friend, so it’s ok if we don’t have a date of when we start. My question is more.....do you think it’s valuable to add this letter showing we have a contract with a place to rent in both our names? Thanks for your thoughts!

I’m very sorry!!! How can that be 😫! You must be able to file an investigation or get some kind of answer from the government about your file!?!?!?! You have called and got no help!?!?!?!? Just doesn’t seem right 😢. I truly hope you get some kind of clarification/Anwser soon!!!

yes have called multiple times. they are no help they just keep saying it takes 5-7 months.... even though they can clearly see we are now well into our 8 month.

Did you speak to a level 2 person? Just doesn’t make any sense! You should be able to file a claim for out of processing time

we have called... they do not help. we have been given no answers on our file not even to say its still in security checks. slowly but surely loosing hope we will get our NOA2.

seems like some petitions just don't get looked at ever.
